Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Recipher mobile application (the "App") operated by Recipher ("us," "we," or "our").

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the App.

1. Use of the App

• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
• Account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

• Free and Paid Services: The App offers both free and paid subscription services ("Premium").
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (e.g., monthly or annually). Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Account Settings.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our service or any components thereof in any manner and at any time as we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion.

3. User Content

• Ownership: You retain ownership of any data, receipts, or other content ("User Content") you upload to the App.
• License to Us: By uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and process such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App (e.g., extracting data from receipts).

4. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Recipher and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Germany and foreign countries.

5. Disclaimer of Financial Advice

The App provides financial tracking and analysis tools for informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional financial, tax, or legal advice. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on the information provided by the App.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Recipher, its affiliates, agents, directors, employees, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; (iii) any content obtained from the App; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
